Get Ready to Supercharge Your Git Commits
Hello, Code Warrior! Are you ready to make your team's git commits more insightful and organized?
The Git Commit Reviewer is here to help you generate a neat summary of your team's commits and create detailed reports. Let's get started!
Connect Your Git and Output Accounts
First, we must link your git account (GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab) and an output account (such as email, Discord, or Slack). Here's how:
Go to the Applications section of CodeGPT-Studio or here.
Select Git Commit Reviewer.
Click on Use now.
Click on + Create Connection
Choose Your Connections:
Select your input (Git) and the repository you want to work with.
And your output channel(Where you want to receive notifications)
Click on Create Connection.
Ensure Both Connections Are Set
Connecting both input and output accounts is crucial. Without either, you won't be able to complete your commit reviewer setup. So, make sure both are good to go!
This is how it should look:
Important!
To ensure your commits are monitored, summarized, and sent to your chosen output channel, please include the /codegpt command before the comment in every commit your team uploads.
Remember, this monitoring and summarizing will only occur if the commits are pushed.
Make sure to push your commits to trigger the process!
This is an example:
This is how you'll receive it in your e-mail :

Bonus: Add More Connections
Want to set up more connections from the same or another repository to a different output channel? No problem! Just repeat the process varying the input-output.
And there you have it! You're all set to make your git commits smarter and more organized. Happy coding! ๐
